I buy the Nikon D40x or Pentax K10?
I've been doing photography for several years, I love, and I want to upgrade to a digital SLR now I have a Panasonic LZ1. I print my own pictures so I can frame, sometimes I have professionally printed, and have been thinking about getting some impressions become too big, larger than A4. There's not a big price difference between the D40X and K10, the K10 I have heard is a much better camera, is this true? * My Camera now is the Panasonic TZ-1. Sorry for the typo in my initial data.
The Pentax is the best camera, no doubt. Pentax lenses are also very good, Do not stop people from Nikon only convince you otherwise. I own and use Nikon digital SLR cameras and lenses, but you will be more than satisfied with lenses Pentax. Pentax has maintained compatibility with older manual focus lenses for you to use them too. Aligning the objectives of Nikon autofocus is larger … but the D40x with autofocus automatically focuses only a much smaller subset of the range of Nikon AF, AF-S. So the advantage of Nikon AF Lens not so great. The Pentax K10D is certainly full featured and top-level camera. If I were starting from cold (without glasses on my block) on a budget, I'd take the Pentax K10D between. You may also look at the Nikon D80 or the D300, either of which I would choose the Pentax. You can find a management problem with one camera over another. Amateur body or not, both cameras are fine cameras and a substantial improvement in LZ1.
